At Les Aldrich Music we have a wide range of Guitar Strings with brands including Martin & Co, RotoSound, D’Addario, Elixir, Ernie Ball, Augustine and more. Our range of Guitar Strings has been chosen carefully by our experienced staff to ensure we have a core range of proven quality.
Violin Strings
Our Violin String range is designed to have something for everyone from the new student to the professional performer. The brands we stock include high quality brands such as Pirastro and Thomastik Infeld alongside brands such as D’Addario and Lenzner. To find out more visit our Violin Strings page.
Viola Strings
Like our Violin String range, we aim to offer quality brands for the performing professional as well as a cheaper strings for the aspiring student. With Viola String brands including Pirastro, Thomastik Infeld, and D’Addario we have a large and varied range for Violists of all standards.
Cello Strings
Our Cello String range is aimed more towards the professional level with Cello String sets such as Evah Pirazzi Gold, Larsen Strings and many more. We also offer a range of Student level Cello Strings from the D’addario Prelude range.
Double Bass Strings
With Strings for every other member of the bowed string family it would seem odd if we didn’t stock Double Bass strings. We currently only stock Innovation strings but we can order other brands upon request.

Can’t see your instrument listed above? Well look no further, we also stock strings for ukulele, mandolin, 5 string banjo, tenor banjo and electric bass with the option to order in strings for dulcimer, erhu, mandola, mandocello and much more!
Rosin
We currently stock a wide range of rosins for violin, cello and double bass. With styles and brands ranging from the dependable Hidersine through to more specific mixes by Pirastro we hold a rosin for almost every performance style. To find out more about our range please visit our page on rosins.
Violin Bows
Are you a student or a professional? Prefer wood or carbon fiber? is round a round bow or an octagonal bow the one for you? Regardless of your answer to any of these questions we have a bow for you at reasonable prices. If we don’t then worry not as we can order a bow for almost any specification, all you need to do is ask.
Cases and Gigbags
We stock cases and gigbags for a wide range of musical instruments from basic guitar gigbags and violin cases to deluxe heavily padded gigbags and hardwood cases. Whilst we don’t always stock some cases for certain instruments, almost anything is available to order!! Check out our cases and gigbags page to see whats available.
Bowed Instrument Accessories
Alongside our impressive range of bowed strings and rosins we also keep a variety of other accessories relating to maintenance and care, general playing and learning. These include shoulder rests, cello spike holders, string cleaner, instrument cleaner and much more!
